I understand the answer. Why does that step work?

Explain why dividing by a fraction makes a number bigger. Start with a picture, then let me try a question.

  1. 01Bring the question and the step that confused you.
  2. 02Ask for a different explanation or a simpler example.
  3. 03Close the explanation and try the next problem yourself.

The useful difference

What is Chat?

Ask a study question, review explanations and available sources, then follow up in the same conversation. Chat can connect a curriculum topic to practice and MindMaps. AI answers can be mistaken, so check important steps against your learning materials.

Use AI chat to uncover the reasoning. Check important claims against your textbook and test whether you can explain the idea without looking.

From question to action

How Chat works

  1. 01Type the question as you would ask a tutor, in any subject on your syllabus.
  2. 02Read the explanation and any available diagrams or source links. Check important details against your learning materials.
  3. 03Ask a follow-up. Chat keeps the thread in mind, so the next answer builds on the last one.

Two sides of learning

Made for your part in the lesson.

For students

  • Ask anything on your syllabus and get a step-by-step answer you can question further.
  • Turn a topic from the conversation into a drill or a mind map without leaving the thread.
  • Stuck mid-problem? The step-by-step solver walks you towards the answer instead of just revealing it.

For teachers

  • Teacher chat is tuned for teaching: explain a concept simply, prepare a lesson or plan the week.
  • Ask for a drill for your class, review it and assign it to a section from the conversation.
  • Gentle prompts help with the routine: a debrief after class, preparing tomorrow's lesson, a weekly reflection.

Studying in the UK

Revise the topic. Then learn to answer the question.

GCSE and A-level revision is more useful when you can name the gap: recalling the content, interpreting the command word or completing the paper in time.

Bring a GCSE question you lost marks on or an A-level explanation you could not finish. Use the feedback to choose a specific topic to revisit before another timed attempt.

Our initial UK rollout focuses on England. Include your qualification, exam board and tier or level, and check available topics against your school’s GCSE or A-level specification.

Before you start

Chat questions

Which subjects can I ask AI Chat about?

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English, History and any other subject on your syllabus. Content is aligned with England curriculum topics for Class 6 to 12, or the local equivalent year groups.

Does AI Chat show its sources?

Yes. Chat can include explanations and source links. Review any sources provided and check important claims against your course materials; AI answers and citations can be mistaken.

Is AI Chat free?

Flow is free to start, with free credits that never expire. Once they are used, paid plans provide access subject to plan usage limits, and the final price is shown at checkout in your local currency.

Keep the learning connected
